The Friends of the Rolla Public Library is a group of people who believe in reading, education and the value of a top-notch library in our community. With money raised through annual memberships and a semi-annual booksale, the Friends donate from $6,000 to $10,000 to the library annually. This money is used to purchase books, tapes, computers, printers and other equipment and supplies as needed based on recommendations from the librarian.
The Friends meet quarterly each year (January, April, July and September). Annual membership levels are: Family, $25; Individual, $10; Seniors/Students, $5; Contributor, $50-$99. Contributions to the Friends are tax-deductible. Membership applications are available through the Main Circulation Desk of the Rolla Public Library.
