The Rolla Public Library currently has one part-time position available as Custodian that will consist of 20 – 28 hours per week. This position is a part-time position without benefits.

ROLLA PUBLIC LIBRARY JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Custodian

Job Duties:

Perform routine cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and other routine maintenance functions; empty trash receptacles; clean restrooms; wash windows and general clean-up of facility, including but not limited to snow removal of front and employee entrance sidewalks.

Assure that tools and equipment properly maintained and in working order.

Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for various programs and special events; prepares facilities for general operations.

Other duties as assigned.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Minimum Qualifications:

One year of work experience dealing with the public preferred.
