Thanks to a donation from the Ozark Rivers Audubon Chapter – Rolla we now offer 2 birding backpacks for checkout! These backpacks, dedicated in loving memory of long-standing Audubon member, teacher and conservationist, Mr. Daniel “Doc” Hatch, contain (2) child and (1) adult-sized binoculars along with a bird guidebook.

Let’s honor Doc’s memory by fostering a love for birds, books, and nature in future generations. Stop by the Library to check out one of these backpacks and go on your own birdwatching adventure!
